The Astral Ringo is a Type III PFD providing an enhanced fit and better-moving performance for whitewater rafting and kayak touring. It’s one of the few life jackets featuring a tri-panel front architecture allowing articulated flotation for freedom of movement. Instead of foam, the Ringo uses naturally buoyant Organic Kapok fibers, and they achieve a phenomenal 16.3lb buoyancy as well as a UCSG Type III approval. There’s a large front pocket with internal compartments keeping everything organized, and a tab on the other side holsters a knife for quick access.
