Breathable warmth without the annoying bunches and folds that chafe us inside our ski boots, the Ortovox Fleece Light Short Pants are our go-to base layer for ski touring and other alpine adventures. The lightweight fleece lined with Tasmanian merino wool keeps our lower bodies comfortable by wicking away moisture and insulating us in wet and dry conditions. The 3/4 length avoids overlapping our baselayers with our ski socks under tight-fitting ski boots, which can lead to numb toes, blisters, and raw skin.
